Rebtel can be used to dial from both landlines and mobile (cell) phones and boasts some of the cheapest rates available. It works with your current carrier or phone line provider and there is no software to download and no pin numbers to use. The service is for dialing international numbers, and you can dial other Rebtel users internationally for the cost of a local call. Their website is in English, Spanish, Polish and French.
To use Rebtel you must first create an account, log in and add credit to your account (you do get a one free call to try out their service). On the Rebtel website you have to enter the international phone number that you wish to call and you will then be provided with an alias of this number. This alias is permanent and you can use it every time you want to make a call to the phone number that it applies to.

18185 is an over-ride telephone provider that lets you make cheaper telephone calls to UK and overseas numbers when dialing from the UK (you cannot use this service if you live outside of the UK). You have to sign up to use the 18185 service and have a debit or credit card so that they can bill you. Once you have registered you simply dial 18185 before the telephone number.
