Cheap phone call providers...

CallForFree

• Use This Service To Call: Internationally (70 countries).

Call for Free is an Australian service which lets you make free international calls using the free minutes in your mobile phone package and you can call cheaply from your landline phone. You can make cheap or free calls to 70 different countries by using an access number directly from your phone. The only cost is for the connection to the CallForFree number.

There is no account to set up, no software to download and install in your mobile, and no pre-payment required, just dial the access number which is: 0413 704 086.

The cost to call the access number from your mobile or landline phone will depend on your service provider, so check with them first to know exactly what you will be charged. However, you will only pay the cost to call the local access number for the duration of the call.

For example, if you call the United Kingdom for 20 minutes, you will be charged by your existing telecom provider for a 20 minute call to the 0413 access number. This is much cheaper than an international call rate, and if you’re using your mobile phone and have free minutes, then that call will be free of charge.

Optus, TPG and Virgin customers can’t use the service yet, although hopefully that will change in the near future.

You will receive your bill from your existing telephone network provider, so there is no need to own a credit card to use this service.
