Nonoh is a VoIP service provider that offers cheap voip rates to most countries as well as free calls to landline phones in certain countries. You have to buy credit in order to dial the free countries, but you do get 60 free minutes to trial the service.

Currently the free countries include the United States, Taiwan, South Korea, Venezuela, Ireland, Finland and Puerto Rico (these do tend to change). This service is very comprehensive with most countries accessible on their network.

When you purchase credit you are give 120 ‘freedays’. During this time you can call landline phones in the free countries at no charge. Once your 120 days have expired you will be charged the Nonoh standard rates. To access more free phone calls you need to buy more credit to obtain another 120 freedays.

Unless you need to call a country or countries on a regular basis where charges apply, it’s not worth continually buying credit just to access the free calls. However, the Nonoh voip rates are good value, so if you do call other countries it’s worth subscribing.

If you don’t want to download their VoIP software, you can use the Nonoh call back system. Enter your own phone number and then the destination number and nonah will call both numbers then ring your phone to connect you.

Access Voip Rates with Access Numbers from Standard Phones

If you prefer to call from a landline phone, you can access the Nonoh voip network by dialing their access number from your regular phone or mobile / cell phone – check out their website for the access number for the country you want to call. You need to register the phone you’re calling from at their website before making calls this way.

The VoIP software is only compatible with Windows Vista, XP or 2000, but if you have a Mac or other system, you can still sign up and use the access numbers and phone-to-phone system.
