RingoMax is a voip application that lets you make voip calls from within the UAE. You must download the free dialer software (Windows only compatible), buy credit using a credit card or Paypal and then you can make cheap phone calls. This service was offline for a while, but is now up and working again (28 Mar 2010).

The RingoMax website doesn’t give very much information – this product is in a Beta stage so hopefully this will improve as it is developed. RingoMax show you only some of their rates on their website, but after you’ve downloaded and installed the dialler software you can see all of the cheap call rates available.

The main advantage of this software is that it lets you make international calls from within the UAE where normally making VoIP calls is blocked. For example, you can call India, Egypt, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Pakistan, the Sudan and the Philippines as well as other countries.

Please note: that sometimes the ringomax.com address is blocked in UAE, Dubai, and for this reason RingoMax have an additiona web address which they change from time to time. Ringomax now have an email address specifically for blocked access. If you find you can’t access their site within the UAE send an email to (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and you will receive a reply (within two minutes according to Ringomax) telling you of the new accessible web address.

If you want to use Ringomax I suggest that you subscribe to their newsletter which will keep you updated with different web addresses for the latest dialers and also for URLs which are not blocked in the UAE. Also, if you are having trouble using the RingoMax service, please download the latest dialer from their website.

Registration required? Yes, you have to register to use this service.

Connection fee? Not known.

Dial from a mobile? No, you cannot use this service when dialling from a mobile.

Ringomax is working voip in UAE. Rates are very very cheap and it’s working voip in uae. Me and some of my friends are using this.cheers.

ringomax is blocked completely

It looks like Ringomax is fuly out of business. If you made payment through paypal, submit a buyer complaint and charge back. To do this, login to your paypal account> View your trasaction details send to ringomax (payment to Amx business). On the bottom, you will see Resolution centre link. Double click and submit your problem in detail. This will help paypal to hold their fund unless the issues are solved or paypal will credit your money back to your account.

ringomax is not working. it is blocked.
there is no cutomer service and no response from ringomax. no refund of the money also

all voip services I know are blocked, even if you can use Skype for pc-to-pc it doesen’t work for pc-to-phone.

You may aware of recently service outage in Ringomax Services.
This problem is now permanently fixed.

Version 9.5 is not working for Online Recharge option.

Nothing seems to be working, site blocked in uae.

Ringomax is definetly not working. I have been contacting them for the last 3 to 4 months but no solution or refund so far.
Version V9.9 gets cut off 30 seconds into the call. EX and EX2 hang on login and no results either.
The chat support center provides no support.
First approach is to ask you to download a previous version. When you tell them it did not work, they insist you do upload again. Senseless, it does NOT work.
Then they will tell you you are giving wrong password and user name. If you insist long enough they will give you a password and name for testing, when it does NOT work then is the next step… pleasu download version Ex (it does NOT work). Oh, please download version EX” (it does NOT work).  No, it is fixed, try again….
Useless suppport. No answer to emails either.
