International calls using fixed lines or mobile phones for the cost of local calls in over 50 countries, that’s why Jaxtr is best of the month for September.

With Jaxtr there is no cost for the call (except a small connection charge), and you only pay your landline or mobile service provider for the cost of a local call. Jaxtr claim that using their service you can save up to 98% on your phone calls.

And it’s true, their call rates are cheap, you can check them out on the Jaxtr website before making any calls, but as an example: to call Australia from the UK costs £0.009 per minute (landline) and £0.043 per minute (mobile). That’s cheap!

Register all the phones you want to use at Jaxtr’s website when you have created an account, and Jaxtr will give you local numbers which connect to your international numbers. Once you’ve registered the phone numbers that you will be calling from there is no requirement to go back to the Jaxtr website to make calls.

It’s free to call other Jaxtr users, although there is a small connection fee charged. The best thing about this service is that you can use it from your cell phone to make cheap international calls and there is also a Jaxtr iPhone app (and that means it works on the iPod Touch too).
